For my Product and Aesthetics module, I was given the task of selecting a Designer/Company and incorporating their form and design language into a hand drill. I chose Jasper Morrison, a renowned furniture designer known for his clean and unobtrusive designs. I took inspiration from his Rowenta's Set design language, as he too design kitchenware and appliances.
The challenge in this project was merging the clean form and design language into a tool that is typically associated with heavy-duty applications, while still prioritizing ergonomics.
To complement the design process, I created informative and ergonomic posters using Adobe Photoshop and the InDesign software, highlighting the key aspects of the hand drill's design.
