The Mizu Set, a collaborative effort with Omni-Remotes, has been honored with the Certificate of Merit. The project sets out to redefine an Over-The-Top Box (OTT-Box), Remote Controller Unit (RCU), and User Interface all under the overarching theme of "Synergy."

In just a month's time, we embarked on a journey of conceptualization, design, and presentation, culminating in the unveiling of our final designs.

The Mizu Set project had several goals:

1) Prevent the loss of the remote controller in households.
2) Remove the need for snap-fits.
3) Eliminate reliance on single-use or rechargeable batteries.
4) Allow for non-pointing control of the Remote Control Unit to the OTT-Box.
5) Enable users to customize their on-screen interface.
6) Facilitate seamless interaction between users and the product.

We prioritized user preferences and strived to foster a harmonious blend of visual - sensory experiences and integrating cutting-edge technologies. This "Synergy" was meticulously crafted by adhering to a uniform design language across the Remote Controller Unit, OTT-Box, and User Interface.

Additionally, we introduced  facial recognition technology onto the OTT-Box, enhancing the user experience with personalized on-screen interfaces.
