Scaled Watch Model, 2017
The Scaled Watch project was a group assignment that introduces us to model making techniques. Our objective was to create a 1:10 scale replica of a watch using either cardboard or blue foam.
We chose to reference the design of the Casio Women's Baby-G Model: BGA760-4B and aimed to make a working model which could function as a wall clock. This project allowed us to delve into the intricate details of the watch and gain a deeper appreciation for the overall process of constructing a cardboard model.
One of the main challenges we encountered was constructing the model using cardboard. Folding the chamfers to match the watch's diameter proved to be difficult, requiring precision and careful execution.
