Ideations and processes.

In this studio module, my task was to design an innovative kitchen product. To achieve this, I conducted empathy studies and user interviews, observing the daily activities of neighbors, relatives, and friends in their kitchens.

The result was the conceptualization of Tower, a dual-purpose kitchenware which can warm food and serve as a decorative feature when not in use. The solution makes dining at home more convenient while enhancing the experience for newlyweds aged 25 to 35 years old.

Newlyweds in this generation, both male and female, often work full-time, leading to several identified problems:

1) Busy schedules
2) Infrequent home cooking
3) Limited time for meal preparation
4) Frequent dining out
5) Ordering takeout meals

Tower is suitable for communal settings or personal use. The overall aesthetics align with interior design trends like Scandinavian and Japandi styles, commonly found in the Built-To-Order (BTO) flats preferred by my target audience.
